Life today
are full of struggles, you cannot please everyone. During your school days, you
did your best to be the cream or one of the best. Then after school you look
for a job that fits you but unfortunately, you landed to be a contractual
employee that do not fits your course, also gives more demanding job but meager
pay. Then you try for more advance education, thinking that if you got a
Master or doctorate degree then you will get the job that you dreamed.
Nevertheless, much of your dismay the bureaucracy comes into action,
as they say it is not what you know but whom you know. The credentials that you
earned for many years cannot suffice the need of our blind employer, who always
think for himself or herself, a selfish attitude that flows into their dying
vessels the advancement of the unit, section or company is not their priority
but the recognition and greedy self-desire seems flows into their crooked
bloodstreams. In addition, sorry for you, no matter how much patience and
eagerness you do, they would not consider that. As long as they look at you as
a hindrance, they cannot see the effort that you do, just to complement their-bewildered
eye.
So bad no matter how good you are you cannot advance
since someone or something wants to pin you down. You feel that you are being
bullied, the old and those in the positioned employee are doing their utmost
just to embarrassed you, they are doing big or small things that would let you
feel unworthy. In addition, they are best in doing so thus the education and
skills that you earned for several years is not worthwhile to linger on.
Then after a long journey you sit
back for a while and rekindle the things that you
have done that goes wrong way. They say that it is your attitude, but you say
no, you are just an employee following their instruction and accepting whatever
memorandum or reprimand, they give. They say you are going against the rule,
but you hesitate to accept that since all you have done is just following the
flow of duty, the rule or law does not say to be better than your supervisor is.
With dry eyes you think of quitting, the fight is over, they won. Hope to have
a better future for you ahead.
After which chill up my friend, do
not let the anger of this world befalls you. Look for other things that you
should hold on, your family, friends and other employee or supervisors that
believes in your talent. Why would you focused on some few men that only make
you feel bad, instead, do not mind them or argue with them because they are not
open for conversation and you will end up as a loser. Look for other thing
that refreshes you, a companion that heals you and an older brother that
protects you. If the talent or a skill is unworthy for them then show it to
others that understood and believes that you can do all things under the sun.
Think that life is like a foodchain, there are predators and there are preys. If you are a prey of a greedy and
a selfish snake like creatures, be careful so that you would not be like them and
succumb into their desires. In addition, if you are the predator
is careful not hurt the pride or the well being of your prey instead, chew
then swallow the infirmities that you see within the workplace.
